Young Scholars Forum > Abstract formattingAbstract formatting: Submissions should take the form of an extended abstract of 2 to 3 pages, excluding references. Please note that this format differs from that of the General Session. Abstracts should be formatted with 2.5 cm (1 inch) margins and single spacing, using Times New Roman in 12 point font. Submissions must be uploaded in DOC or PDF format. All submissions must be anonymous, and any author identifying information, including metadata and file properties, must be removed prior to submission. Abstract content: In addition to the research summary, the abstract must include a clearly labeled section titled either “Questions for the Reviewer” or “Methodological Challenges,” in which authors should explicitly outline the issues, uncertainties, or challenges currently encountered in their research. Authors are also required to include two to four keywords immediately below the title. These keywords should indicate both the relevant subfield, such as syntax, phonology, or historical linguistics, and the current stage of the research, selected from the following options: Preliminary stage, Work in progress, Completed study. |
